Post cruise in New Orleans

I recently had a similar problem in NYC.  Got off the ship at 9:30 a.m., flight out wasn't until 6:00.  What to do?  With four suitcases.  I could not find a reasonable excursion that allowed luggage.  So we sat at JFK Airport for hours.  And we could not even check in our luggage (and therefore could not go into any  of the lounges or restaurants inside the secured area) until 1:00 p.m.

I hope you find a better solution.

I know this is an old thread but in case folks are still curious.  We found a couple of places near the port that you can store your bags for about $6 a bag.  Below is one you can book in advance.

We had the perfect, for us, return flight at 1:20 and southwest moved it to 9:20, so we had to change to the evening 5:35 flight.
