We are thinking of taking our three kids (ages 14-20)with us on a cruise next year. Would a family suite be big enough or should we book two separate cabins?

I always book 2 cabins.. 1 for mom and I. The other for the kids. Mom and I always want some down time and so do the kids.

Our kids are in their late teens and all have jobs. Mom and I get the balcony cabin. WE pay for the inside cabin across the hall for the kids. If they want an Ocean View or a Balcony, we ask them to pay the difference.

I would recommend two cabins an inside and a balcony simply for the extra bathroom. Your kids are old enough that they can be in their own cabin and it will give you and hubby some alone time.

Most of Carnival's newer ships only allow up to four in a cabin. I would go with two cabins. More room.
