F19810 Posted April 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2023 I booked 2 cruises for next fall with free cancellation. I just found out that my niece got engaged and is planning to get married next fall. I was thinking of booking the same two cruises for next spring with free cancellation and when I find out her date, cancel one set of cruises. Does anybody see any problems with me doing this? I would cancel about 6 months before the cruises. Judy
complawyer Posted April 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2023 as long as you cancel before final payment is due (120 days prior to sailing) there should be no problem
Rare craig01020 Posted April 28, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2023 No problem. I do it all the time.
fshagan Posted April 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Yes, the cancel date is 120 days before, so you should be good. However, keep an eye on NCL as you get closer to the six month mark. Probably the best way is to check in on this forum every day or so. NCL has changed it's policies in the past, going from 90 days to 120 days. They could switch that to 180 days but would probably have a grace period. You just never know.
