Daily Tipping

I’ve been reading a lot of articles and boards in regards to tipping.  Although gratuity is included in our cruise package, as you all know, most people add extra gratuity at the end of the trip. I have been reading a lot of articles lately that say tipping on a daily basis, instead of a lump sum at the end of the trip, (if you’re going to do extra tipping), is preferable. We are long time cruisers and I like that idea….would imagine the crew does too.  An example of what I’m talking about would be leaving 20 bucks at the table in the dining room after a meal rather than $100 at the end of the trip. What do you all think about that? Thanks in advance.
