BobNoxious Posted May 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2023 I heard something on a podcast about the Cocoa Beach Club lunch times being reserved a day before arriving Coco Cay? Where/When and how far in advance can these reservations be made?
Havin'fun Posted May 1, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2023 The day before you can call the same number for making dinner reservations, any of the restaurants can make that reservation for you.
CTCruiser76 Posted May 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Can the concierge make them for you, if/when staying in a suite?
teddie Posted May 2, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 2, 2023 On our recent Anthem cruise, we reserved lunch without issue when we arrived at the Beach Club. We were the only ship in port,so it was fine. Next time, I will keep the advance reservation in mind. Thanks, Teddie
Rare crewsweeper Posted May 2, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2023 We had a notice in our cabin with the number to call. Might have been there on arrival or the next day. But DW called and reserved. No issues. When we went to lunch there were plenty of tables open and that was with 2 ships in port. Service was smooth. A bit of lingering for the check, but not overly long of a wait. Curious why you waited around for a check (Was it for drinks) Food is all included as part of the beach club experience Never ever had a check in all the times we have been in last 6 or so cruises to OP Ad soon as you arrive go to podium to the right where the food area is and make a reservation. Typically food starts at 11:30 and in our experience we have always managed to get a table for 12 noon or before YMMV Edited May 2, 2023 by PompeySailor
Rare crewsweeper Posted May 2, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 2, 2023 We had checks for everything. Even though it was covered. Also place for tips.

Will be there next week, will be surprised to see any check We don’t need a receipt to give a cash tip 😉 any thread can be turned into a tipping thread, it’s getting old

The food is complimentary, why would you get a check Are we going to the same Cococay Beach club Maybe certain travelers attract paperwork Only reason I can see a need for a check is if you pay extra for non included drinks

Not sure if you've been there before. But on our cruise in April, we had UDP and always got a papaer check. Most of the time it was a bunch of zeros (same for CCBC) But even with no alcohol or sodas still got a check. I assumed they were just getting our signature in case we had a dispute. so that "yes we have proof you ate here on such and such a date at such and such a time. You signed the bill." Cmon Have I been there before, you serious 🧐 see post #6 been there 6 times in last 6 months We got the $88.99 IT screw up deal and booked it for pretty much every future cruise we have on Royal I guess your experience differs to ours and that is 😎 one day we will save the trees and paper receipts will disappear for all and I never pay for drinks, probably why I never get any paper 😉

DublinFC Posted December 28, 2023 #15 Share Posted December 28, 2023 I understand we can reserve a lunch time at the beach club. However, if we get hungry later before it is time to go back to the ship can we get more food from the beach club restaurant? Or is it an eat once and you are done situation? Just wondering cause if the drinks are going down as easily as they did the last time we were there then some extra food would be a good idea 🙂
