da_man Posted March 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Hi, we love kids, we really do. Have a passle of 'em! However, we're traveling WITHOUT them this summer, and as such, we would like to find a cruise line with not so many children on board. Or does it even matter? will we hear babies crying and all that? See children putting their hands into the buffet? Accidentally turn around and answer when somebody says "dad"? We're thinking of going to the Bahamas. We have sailed once, with Carnival, a few years ago. And with family. We loved Carnival. But we are open to trying something else, too. Any suggestions are appreciated. (and, please don't be offended. we just want some together time) Thank you, Jake
luv2cruise450 Posted March 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Since you are asking for suggestions...if you can take a longer cruise...there will usually be very few if any children on board. Some of the upscale, luxury lines also have few or no children on board. Cruising when kids are out of school will also mean more kids on board. We try to cruise during the 'shoulder' seasons for the Caribbean if that's where you prefer to go to. Cruises in the Mediterranean also tend to have few children. Enjoy your sailings. GottaLuvCruising Posted March 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Cruises to the Bahamas are shorter and have more kids. To sail with fewer youngsters, choose a longer sailing and a more upscale line.
