Destiny0315 Posted May 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2023 Here is a video of the illustrated presentation given by guest speaker Bill Miller yesterday at the Hoboken Historical Museum in Hoboken, New Jersey about Holland America Line's history in Hoboken. Bill Miller is considered to be an expert on ocean liners and he recently was a guest speaker onboard the Rotterdam for HAL's 150th Anniversary. https://www.youtube.com/live/N6N1rPjzSW0?feature=share

For one thing I wish that had kept just one ship small enough to get into Hamilton Harbor in Bermuda which was a perfect summer cruise for HAL considering their history there and it being a much different cruise experience then docking with other main line monster ships at the Dockyard. Years ago I did that cruise with HAL out of both New York and Boston and now only a few stops are made in Hamilton by the luxury lines.
