Orange Party

We are packing for our 14 day Baltic Sea cruise on the Rotterdam, embarkation is Saturday!!

 

Should we pack our orange shirts for an Orange Party, or do they not have that on every cruise?

Can anyone give us newbies more info about the Orange party? Orange Bar Crawl?  Also, we enjoy listening to live music and late-night is good, but we don't drink.  Is that going to be awkward?  Thanks for any comments/suggestions/info!

Never heard of Orange Bar Crawl but HAL used to do a bar crawl. I thought they had stopped but could be wrong.

 

The Orange Party is held in one of the larger bar areas such as BB Kings. You are encouraged to wear Orange, as much or as little as you like. Chocolates and finger food is provided.

 

Dinkers and staff won't notice or care what you drink or don't drink.

Even if you don't attend any of the activities or even purchase special orange colored drinks, it is just festive to see how others are wearing "orange".

 

Having cruised from the beginning of "Orange Parties" with lesser or greater degrees of participation early on, it was fun to see the high degree of participation on our last holiday Konigsdam cruise. It becomes festive, since it is an ice-breaker among those showing their colors - one way or another.

This orange thing sounds like great, easy fun!  Thanks, everyone for info! Happened to be walking through JCPenney to the mall the other day and past the heavily double-discounted rack; what do I spy but a lovely thick cable knit sweater in ORANGE!  How much?  $3.24!  SOLD!  SO you will see me wearing that sweater!
