A dollar sign is a dollar sign

A dollar sign means nothing

A dollar sign means nothing if a dollar amount isn't attached to the dollar sign

 

 

In other words, on the menus on the RCCL website, they attach dollar signs to indicate the price of the venue.  Other than comparing one venue to another, is there a standard attached to the dollar signs?  Is one $ = to up to $10.00, is two $$ = to $10.01 to $20.00.........? If there is, I haven't seen it.

I think it just indicates that a venue is not complementary, not the approximate cost.

I’ve seen this in many places including resorts.   Most don’t tend to define it in my experience.  Just to tell you price relative to the other venues.

Ya, I hear ya.  I think Disney World does the same, although I haven't been there in decades and won't return any time soon.  I really didn't think there was a standard.  I just thought it would be nice to know for those that need to budget every dollar.
