Help! Looking for Freedom of the Seas Information-NY stop?

I've been reading the Freedom of the Seas threads and noticed that she is supposed to be in NY? Does anyone know when exactly and for how long? Does anyone know where I can search for the information? Any information would be helpful. Thanks!!:confused:

I was wondering the same thing. I also would like to know if they are going to use the Cape Liberty Pier or have her at the NYC piers.

My understanding is that she gets christened May 12th in the Port of NY, and leaves on the first of her US short shake-down cruises on May 13th out of Bayonne. I don't know what is carved in stone or not though.

According to Massport the Freedom will be in Boston after she is in NYC. There are 2 (1day) 5/19 and 5/21 trips and a 5 day repostioning 5/22 So people in Boston will get a sneak peak too...

We received a call from C&A last week inviting us on the two night sailing of the Freedom out of Boston on May 19th. Getting excited already. Don't know or care about what our accommodations will be - a lounge chair in the Solarium would be fine.;)

May 12??? Darn, I won't be home in NYC. I will sailing the Majesty that day. I would rather be on that new FREEDOM. Oh well, I will still be cruising :)

I wonder why they would christen her in NYC? Usually they do that in the home port. Maybe they're trying to tie into the Today Show contests they've had.
