mancunian Posted May 22, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Having now got and printed our boarding passes for our cruise on Vista from Athens on 1 June, I see it tells you to affix your luggage labels. We have not got luggage labels and cannot remember if you are given these at the port or should we have received them. Help please

Help please Someone from the UK said that O is not shipping luggage labels (or other pre-cruise docs) to the UK anymore. Don't worry though, you can get blank ones from the porters, or you can make your own (your name, embarkation date, ship name, and stateroom number). I'll see if I can find the link to a template that is somewhere here in the forums...

Rare mauibabes Posted May 22, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2023 We just left Vista Saturday and Yes, they sent us a lovely cruise booklet, aka blue book. Yes, there were baggage tags and they were received about a month before sailing. Vista was FANTASTIC. Perfect, no but overall amazing. There are so many new experiences to be had so you will have plenty of time to enjoy them all and make your own decisions and form your own opinions. Ciao, Mauibabes Sorry to highjack this thread but did you happen to note the Founders Bar menu with pricing and the mixology cart pricing? There is quite a discussion on pricing and if included in the Prestige Beverage package.
Rare mauibabes Posted May 22, 2023 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Sorry, never spent any time in the Founder’s Bar. We did roll through a Bar Menu in Horizons and as I recall, a Big O and others were around $14. Did spend part of an evening in Martinis playing. Name that Tune. The cruise was too short; with 3 hosted parties to attend, a dinner with a group in Prive, wine tasting session and several bottles of Oceania provided Champagne and wine to consume did not leave enough time for much other bar tasting time. We barely had time to visit all the restaurants and in fact missed the Seafood Extravaganza twice in the Terrace Cafe which was reportedly BEYOND BELIEF. Tooooo much to do and tooooo little time to do it. All a 7 day cruise did for us was reconfirm that it is TOO short a cruise as we have spent about 11 days with a totally disfunctional body clock. Add in delayed or cancelled flights from the Left Coast, it was really difficult to get into full cruise mode. Good thing we are booked back on her for 16 days in October so we can take it all in. Mauibabes Thanks for responding - we discovered many cruises ago that 7 days, even 10 days , is too short for us - we are joining VISTA in Montreal the end of September and staying on to LAX the beginning of November so maybe we will be together going through the Panama Canal! Rare mauibabes Posted May 23, 2023 #9 Share Posted May 23, 2023 Definitely, we get on board in Miami so we’ll be at the M&G and can talk. We have some other friends on the Montreal segment as well. Ciao Mauibabes
