Billing- Change a Deposit?

Okay, so I didn't think through which of my credit cards has trip insurance before I put my deposit down! 

 

Now I'd like to switch my deposit so I can pay in full on the *right* card. 

 

Does anyone think MSC can and will switch it for me?

 

Or do I need to cancel and rebook the trip? - It is currently the same price I locked in.

You do not have to use the same card to pay off the cruise that you used for the deposit.  EM

Thanks! Yeah, I just didn't know if there was a way to have then refund my deposit and then charge a different card...

One thing that has been a constant on this board is that if at all possible, do not mess with your booking.  It can cause all kinds of difficulties/changes/confusion.  EM

If you want to put the whole cost on the credit card with insurance....cancel and rebook.  The refunds aren't taking too long (mine was less than 2 weeks).
