Grand Cayman cruise ship early departure

Our cruise ship is there from 7 am to 4 pm. Since it’s a tender port, it might take time to get off the ship. Any recommendations as to the beach, sightseeing, etc. activities? We usually don’t take cruise ship tours, but perhaps in this case it’s worth it? There are 2 ships in port that day, so shouldn’t be too crowded.

If you’ve never been, Stingray City is the most “famous” attraction, you’d need an excursion of some type to get there as it’s a sandbar out in the ocean.  Private or cruise ship excursions both go there.

Seven Mile Beach (SMB) is also a popular stop.  There are lots of threads about it in this forum.

Alternatively, a quick google of “things to do in Grand Cayman” will get you lots of ideas, then you can come back here for answers to more specific questions about your options.
