Transportation to MIA from Port

We have a party of 8 returning to various states (VA, IN, TN, FL) after our cruise in December. Not sure what airlines the other are using but I do know we all need to get to the airport post-cruise. Carnival would cost $23 pp for their shuttle but there has to be a better way to get all of us to the airport. My flight doesn't leave until 3 so we're in no rush to get off the ship. Best to do the shuttle? Uber? Taxi? Private car hire?  TIA.

Best in what way? All in one vehicle? Check some of the shuttle companies frequently mentioned here to do a private charter. Possibly a limo might be able to handle your group,  but luggage is a question. 

 

Cost? Use 2 or 3 Ubers. Even a taxi is cheaper than the transfers.

Yes, but also occupies most of the time.

1) Taxi(s) or rideshares to airport.

2) Taxi(s) or rideshares to Government Center Metrorail station and then Metrorail direct to airport.
