Hi All, In case this helps any of the UK travellers who have been looking into what's needed in terms of Visa for Sri Lanka. I tried to apply for a Transit Visa today (Tourist Visa only allowed or airport arrivals) and kept getting stuck at the checkout when trying to pay.

 

I emailed the Sri Lanka Visa Team and they came back with the following reply - 

 

Dear Scott,

Please note that you are currently unable to apply for a transit visa online, as the online visa process has been temporarily suspended. The only option available at this time is to obtain a visa on arrival.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let me know if you need any further assistance.

 

Looks like we will have to leave a Sri Lanka visa until arrival.
