New to MSC - platinum level on RCI

Hello All….. we are Platinum level with Royal. What is the status match on MSC? This will be our first MSC cruise. We are booked on new ship Euribia - regular cabin, not Bella or yacht . What will we be missing? Do we consider upgrading? How is entertainment besides shows? And I know food is subjective of course to everyone …. But how does selection compare to other lines?   Is there a coffee card to purchase? Anything you think is helpful would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

No coffee card, just drink packages.

 

Lots of people have talked about what you mentioned , but I haven't left yet on my cruise so I can't answer for myslf, but my research tells me they are more similair than different, food is good, not excellent, (there is a post on drinks packages and it has the menus so you can see examples), most shows are singing and dancing type because of the language barrier (announcements are usually in four languages), and yacht club is amazing if you can afford it.

I think you will get a gold card  match for your RCL match, I don't think they have a coffee card like RCL, At least I have seen one for our last two cruises with MSC,

According to the Status Match Table on CruiseGear, RCL Platinum matches to MSC Silver.
