I am umming and erring over booking The Retreat for an upcoming Britannia cruise.  You can only buy a week pass in advance.

Has anyone had experience of buying it on board for just a day?  If so, please could you share how booking on board works and if you can remember, what the daily price was?  Many thanks!

I was on britannia in april on a med cruise. We managed to buy a day pass for £40 each and throughly enjoyed our day there. So much calmer and relaxing with great views.Dont bother with having meals in there though as very poor choice.Staff very nice and come round offering tea/coffee and blankets if needed.Wish we could have afforded the whole 12 days in there.

Thanks for the info!  Were you able to book the day passes in advance or was it an on-the-day booking thing?

Not in Advance but we booked it the day before a sunny sea day.Just go to the spa and ask reception

We have just been to Norway and had the retreat for a week. Think it was £140 each for the week - well worth it, whenever we were in there were no more than 20 people in there so very quiet compared to the rest of the ship - waiters are fantastic as well and they give you robes to wear and blankets if it gets cold. Great views as well as you are right at the front of the ship
