Roatàn Island Brewery

Don't expect Lost 40 or Flyaway, but worth a visit.  Staff is good and beer is better than the Honduran stuff (which isn't half bad).  Doing it via ship excursion would help in getting there when its open.  A private taxi or island excursion will be catch if catch can.

Thanks for the info! Lost 40 or Flyaway. You are familiar with Little Rock breweries. Planning on booking with the ship.

Grew up in what's now Sherwood.  Venture back every so often. Some HS friends used to jam at Thirst N Howl.

So getting a taxi from port to the brewery is a challenge?  Usually we are fighting off taxi drivers in ports😄

Catching a taxi at the port ius easy.  Getting one to pick you up might be challenging.  Your original taxi may or may not want to hang around while you do the tour. The brewery isn't located in a frequently visited area by cruisers.  And the biggest drawback is that the brewery may not be open unless you've made prior arrangements..

Thanks. The ship has an excursion there that day and it’s a day they are normally open so we should be good in that respect. We weren’t going for the tour, just to visit the brewery for an hour or two.
