Anyone been to this place lately? I was about to book at Jamies but saw this one. Looks like maybe the beach is nicer?

That's in part because it's further south than the main malecon where Jaime's is located.  Maybe a 20-30 minute cab ride. Can still get sargassum, but you won't have the vendors or crowds along the malecon.  It is an eco resort that caters to staying guests and has a limit on number of cruisers it can take.  But if you want a little more isolation and if Maya Chan is still closed for vacation when you stop at Costa Maya, you might find it worthwhile.
