Splash academy - age limits

Does anyone know if babies are allowed in the splash academy on Norwegian getaway. I have a 11 month old baby, I know he'd love to splash around in the water but not sure what age limits there are.

"splash academy" is a name and a concept. it's not really about swimming or getting wet. it's NCL's youth activities program for those 3 - 12 years old. they do have a "guppies" program for infants, but it's not a drop off program... it's supervised activities for parents to play with their babies and toddlers, as well as others.

As Mjkamom correctly pointed out, children in diapers aren't allowed in any NCL pools.  The filtration system isn't advanced enough to prevent an accident from becoming a health hazard.  If a splash pad is critical, please note that all Disney and some RC ships (Adventure, Allure, Anthem, Freedom, Harmony, Independence, Liberty, Oasis, Ovation, Odyssey, Quantum, Spectrum, Symphony and Wonder) have splash zones that are safe for diapered children to use thanks to their advanced filtration systems.  Some parents have brought small blow up pools for their balconies on other ships.

If your getaway sailing is like mine in January, there will be parents who let diapered children as young as yours into the splash zone, and the employees will do nothing to stop them.  This is creating a potential public health hazard, which is particularly unfair to the potty trained children who are too small for the main pool and can only be in the splash zone.

There is a small room on one of the higher decks that has toys for toddlers and the babies can play happily together.

If you were referring to the splash zone (drop off daycare) please note that only disney and newer/refurbished RC ships have daycare available for children under 3 for a fee.  Please also note that 2 year olds can use  drop off care starting at age 2 on Carnival and Cunard.   Precovid, children under 3 could attend the daycare program with parental supervision on Princess.  The princess counselors did a great job watching the small kids and helping them do projects.
