Solo Traveler Dining Question

Can I get a table for one?  I like to eat, enjoy and move on. I'm not antisocial but never liked the large tables with unknown guests.

Was sat on my own in YC when solo, and saw a number of solo travelers sat with a two top to themselves in the Aurea restaurant. I would suggest speaking with the restaurant once onboard if you're not YC or Aurea to see if you can sit on your own.

If you are Bella or Fantastica, you will be assigned to a sharing table with other solo travelers. Once onboard, you could try to go directly to the MDRs and ask to have your seating changes, but I am sceptical that you will be able to get a table to yourself.

Yes, ask the head waiter in the MDR - they will accommodate you.

 

We had 2 solo travellers every night dining in the MDR sitting each at very large tables (10-12 seating) while our family of 4 was seated in a smaller 6 seat table.

The answer is "it depends."  When the ships were sailing at very low capacity it was easier to arrange.  Now it's hard to even get a 2 top at dinner (unless, as indicated, you are YC or Aurea.)  Your 'eating and moving on' doesn't help the dining room, unfortunately, as it is fixed seating.
