Rome dining recommendations

We will be in Rome in August 1-day before our cruise. Looking for any recommendations on where to eat authentic Italian food for lunch or dinner. Looking for a casual environment with outdoor seating. Would like it to be reasonably priced. We are flexible on the area as we just want to absorb the local culture as we have been Rome many times,
