Passage to India

We have booked the Golden Triangle add on for October 2024

If anyone who has done this trip would be kind enough to give us

some information it would gratefully received

we have never done a extension before so fairly clueless as to what 

to expect although we are super excited about the whole trip 

this will be our third Viking Cruise

While not this exact extension, we did a 4 day overland with Viking.  They took care of everything and the guides, transport, hotels, and meals were excellent.  Agra, the Taj, and Delhi were eye opening.  So glad we did it.  I would expect this one to be much the same.

We did this extension before our Passage to India just last month.  What exactly do you want to know.  Viking does everything for you - the hotels were wonderful, the buses only had around 22 people on them and we have made life long friends with some of our bus companions.   You will not have to worry about a thing.  Happy to answer any questions you may have.

We visited Agra, Delhi, and Jaipur on our own in 1987. The highlight of course was the Taj — so magnificent, we went back a second time while we were in India. So my advice is simple: By all means do the extension!
