Carnival Celebration Casino - Coin Pusher

Good day all,

 

Does anyone know if the Carnival Celebration Casino have the games that you load the quarters into and have the coins that spell out bonus, and if so is it on the non-smoking or smoking side.  It's my wife's favorite game so just trying to determine if they have it!

Never heard of this but I can remember bringing on rolls of coins to play in the casino. You had a big white bucket to carry around if you won. Lol!

we have not been on the celebration but all the ships we have been on have had this game in the casino

I don't think they have it on Mardi Gras or Celebration. We were on the cruise on Mardi Gras where it was removed.

I just got off the Celebration, no coin pushers they replaced it with claw machines that “attempt” to pick up packs worth 100 200 or 500. 5 dollars for 5 attempts.

The quarter push game was in the arcade on the Mardi Gras.  I love to play that game as well and was disappointed when we didn't see it in the casino on MG last December.  We found it a couple days into the cruise when we were checking out the arcade to kill some time before dinner, not sure I like the idea of it being in the arcade area BUT at least they still have it.  Possible in the same area on Celebration.

I recall two versions of the coin pusher game.

The first version..

where the player pushed the coins

along a parallel-sided  channel -worked OK

and you'd get a few quarters tumbling over the edge!

Then they got too clever, and came up with a version

where coins were pushed along an ever-wider channel,

where your chance of getting anything was near-impossible

That's when I stopped playing what used to be a fun game.

I really dislike the claw game.

 

Like @RiotAct we LOVED the earlier version of the coin pusher game. Was so much fun; never won a ton, but never lost a ton either. DIdn’t like the newer version.
