Going to Alaska

First time going to Alaska and plan on taking lots of photos.  Canon 70D with Tamron 18-400.  What should i buy or use to keep camera from the rain and dampness

The OP/TECH USA rainsleeve is a good product and good insurance. I bought mine for Alaska in 2016 and take it with on every cruise. I have yet to take it out of the package!  ☺️  We only had rain on the Alaska cruise when cruising Glacier Bay but I was able to slip my camera inside my jacket.

I use that rain sleeve when we take whale watches from a raft in Hawaii. Have had some rain - but usually it is protection from splashing.

I’d also suggest dehumidifier sachets (silica gel) for your camera bag to reduce/avoid condensation when moving from warm ship to cool outdoors and vice versa.
