ixmnrs Posted July 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2023 Hello All, Haven't done this in a while; plan on sailing on the Wonder of the Seas out of Port Canaveral. Will be flying in to MCO with a noon arrival. Is there time to catch the ship directly (assuming no flight delays, etc.) or do most people fly in the day before? I wouldn’t want to miss the ship and if your flight is arriving at 12, that is too close IMO. The port isn’t that close to Port Canaveral.
S.A.M.J.R. Posted July 7, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2023 IMO, smart people fly in the day before. Assuming Noon arrival, say off the plane and get luggage by 1230, get to shuttle and transport to the pier, 130 at the earliest. All aboard is 330? So, as long as you don't have flight delays, don't have luggage delays, don't have transportation delays, or any combination, you're fine!
smokeybandit Posted July 7, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2023 Noon arrival is really, really cutting it close. Especially in the current flight landscape where delays are more common.
ixmnrs Posted July 7, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted July 7, 2023 Thanks for your quick replies! Albeit not in winter, but flights in from Canada - probably can't risk it!

Last 2 times we flew into Orlando (a cruise and a cheer competition) flights were fine andgot there in plenty of time, but then had to wait over 2 hours for luggage as there were lightning delays and it was holding up getting the luggage from the plane to the terminal. We were very glad we were 2 days early for our cruise!
