Veggie Burger Upgrade

We are on the Neptune and much to our surprise the veggie burger served at the Pool Grill is an Impossible Burger. This is a huge upgrade over the former (inedible) veggie burger.

My dw never met a veggie burger she could not stomach until our Viking cruise in 2021!

Thanks for letting us know about the impossible burger.  I would definitely order that over the regular burger.  I like the impossible burger, but they tend to be high in fat.  Depending on your dietary needs, they may not be as good for you as you think.  Of course, they are vegetarian and probably vegan as well if that's your thing.

I had a Veggie Burger on the Viking Sea last month.  First bite and the "burger" smooshed into a weird pasty consistency.  Anything would be an improvement!

We were on Viking Orion in March 2024 and the impossible burger was awful ... Soggy, mushy.  But I'm on Viking Venus now (August) and the impossible burger was fantastic! I've asked the cook to confirm the brand. 

 

I eat impossible burgers and beyond burgers at home (US) and love beyond the most but today's impossible was absolutely the best!

Exactly this^^^.  Veggie burgers are mush IMO, but the impossible burger actually tastes good.  Unfortunately for me, it's high in fat so it's "impossible" for me.
