Catamaran sail Taha'a

Just wondering if anyone has done this shore excursion?  Do you end up snorkeling in the same coral garden as the drift snorkel tour? Do you still do the drift? Or snorkel further away from the current? Does it take place at around the same time?  Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

It is available on the app and I have previously seen it advertised and wondered if it would suit us more as it seems to also go to the coral gardens but does not require you to be highly experienced snorkelers.

@mermaid 285 do you see your PG cruise on the Ponant app? I just downloaded and was able to log in but says no future cruises.

I’m on the ship now.  They said the catamaran trip leaves at 8:45 and returns at 11:45. The snorkel is not at the drift snorkel location but is at a different location in deeper water.
