Showing movies in the theatre on sea days

I seem to remember on our last Sapphire Princess cruise (approx. 13 years ago) they showed movies in the theatre on sea days. Is this still a thing? I know about movies under the stars but I liked the afternoons showings inside.

It will depend on the itinerary. Just off 7 day California coastal with only 2 sea days. They did NOT do movies in the Theatre but did show some in Explorers lounge and of course on the Movies under the Stars screen.

In Alaska they did show more in the theater because they cannot use the Movies under the Stars screen sound system in several of the ports due to noise abatement laws in some ports.
