Cartagena and Murcia Spain Day Tours

Hi.  My husband and I are looking forward to our trip on the Pursuit!  Hopefully it won't be as sweltering as it is here in Texas.

We found a tour through Spain Day Tours of Cartagena and Murcia that looks wonderful.  It needs a minimum of 14  and up to a maximum of 18 persons to be scheduled.

These are the basics with more detail on their website:

* 79 Euros per person for the full day tour with a visit to Murcia (7-8 hours)

 On this shore excursion you can expect:

 * Personal pick-up at the start of the tour - from the Cartagena port (at 0815-0829)

* Personal drop-off at the end of the tour 100% on time

* Touring in a new, comfortable and air-conditioned van/mini-coach

* Touring with a driver + English speaking guide

 The price includes transportation, your own driver, a dedicated expert English speaking guide, petrol, toll roads, parking, and all taxes. You will have time to explore the places and take photos.

 On this excursion we will explore Cartagena - including the Historic port city, the Roman Theatre, and the old quarter. We will also visit Murcia, with its impressive Cathedral, old quarters and the baroque sanctuary of Fuensanta (great views of Murcia). There are impressive views on this excursion as well as a walk through the old quarter of the two cities - total duration is approximately 7 hours.

We took that tour in a private version for four of us. Same description. It was excellent.  Murcia is a lot more intetesting than Cartagena.

We had driven through the area before, but our friends had not and this contributed greatly to our trip.

Get a quote for a private tour just in case you don't get the large group. You might be able to find a few more through your roll call.

Sorry, especially as this is your first post and you are new to Cruise Critic and maybe not yet aware of the do's and don'ts, but a moderator may move or delete this thread as tour shares requests are only permitted on Roll Calls, so I suggest you move it (or copy to your RC) sooner rather than later.

The rules;

Posts looking for members to "share" your excursion, or posts mentioning that a few more spaces in a van are available and you should contact so and so, are not allowed here or or on any of the other forums except the ROLL CALL forums.

And BTW, Welcome to Cruise Critic!
