ngo Posted August 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Thinking about booking a cabin on deck 3, mid ship near the stairs. How is the area? Anyone ever stayed? Thanks.
lj77346 Posted August 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2023 I stayed in deck 3 cabins a number of times. It's quiet on deck 3 because the only people walking down the hallway are those with cabins there (and a few passengers who think they can get to the tenders through that hallway). With the midship location and being low on the ship, I've found the ride in deck 3 cabins to be quite smooth.
AMHuntFerry Posted August 4, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2023 (edited) We were on deck 3 on Regatta. The security people do some work in a small office (more like a closet) across the hall from 3023. There was a little noise from them talking or their radios making noise. It wasn't a big deal but a couple of rooms away would be quieter. You will be very happy if the seas are rough; on two nights people had serious sea sickness problems, but we could barely tell that the seas were anything but glass (like during an earthquake when things on a shelf rattle but you don't feel anything). And it's just 2 staircases to Baristas! Also, the portholes let in light, but if you want to watch scenery you need to go elsewhere. MEFIowa Posted August 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2023 Per the deck plan, those are technically D Cabins, Ocean View Stateroom. Fifteen on the starboard side.
