Tender in Phuket

Hi, We will be on a Celebrity cruise in January 2024 and I believe we tender into Phuket.  Does anyone know where we would be dropped off in Phuket and how long would it take to get from the ship to the tendering dock.  We are in Phuket overnight, arriving 7.00 am and departing 8.pm the following day.  We would love to do a tour of some of the islands but a lot seem to leave early and not sure whether we would be able to make it on shore on time for a early pick-up.  Any advice from anyone who has done this would be very gratefully received.  Many thanks in advance.

Yes, Phuket is a tender port - when I was with Celebrity it was to Patong Beach - I think that is still the case. Tendering was quite a long time.

I have been to Phuket often.  There are quite a lot of very nice beaches there.

They also have the Giant Budha.  You will have to check the tour times but Phi Phi island or James Bond Island (I think one of the most photographed beaches) isn't too far from Phuket so you'd be able to do that one the day you arrive.
