gerry1.10 Posted August 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2023 Hi everyone Anybody has experienced obtaining a visa for Vietnam on board with Celebrity? There will be a stop (only one) in Vietnam on the November cruise from Tokyo to Singapore. I know I need to have a visa to enter Vietnam but I am prepared to stay on the ship in lieu of obtaining a visa should I not be able to obtain one on board? Will be able to do that? I have also read that cruise passengers can obtain a "loose-leaf" visa on arrival but apparently that is no longer available? Anybody who has recently cruised to Vietnam please share your experience on the subject. Thank you gerry1.

Rare mom says Posted August 21, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2023 (edited) Um, if OP is from Canada, the US site will be of little help Normally if a visa is required to visit a cruise port, you would be denied boarding if you didn't have it. Just staying on board is not an option. As soon as the ship enters territorial waters, you are in that country. There is a recent thread on the Asia ports of call forum about Vietnam visas that may be useful https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2942001-visa-in-vietnam/ Edited August 21, 2023 by mom says
