Prima/Viva Suite Question - Escorted On/Off Benefit

We are contemplating an itineraries on Viva or Prima. We are trying to get a handle on the different benefits between a non-Haven suite and a Haven suite.

I understand that the non-Haven suite has zero access to the Haven complex. My big question is how the escorted on/off perk works in each class for a tender port intensive itinerary. Is there a difference between non-Haven and Haven? Does this actually work to expedite the experience enough to justify the increased cost of either option? I know that's a judgment call, but I'd appreciate hearing experience from folks that have used this benefit.

Thanks!

Great Question.  We are booked in Haven Breakaway Oct 3rd.  Whether Tender or docking at any port, is there real priority for disembarking?  We have a number of tight private tours due to distance from port to main cities.

The answer is yes.

Haven guests use the service elevator to bypass all be other guests queuing up on the stairways and in the corridors

If you are booked on a specific excursion then you can wait in the Haven lounge and you will be taken down at the appropriate time. Unless you want to go earlier in which case you can simply Ask the concierge. It's great!!!

Any idea how it works for the non-Haven suites? Same process?

The Prima and Viva Haven have their own private aft elevators (2) and don't use the service elevators. You will line up in the Haven and the conceirge will escort you down and walk you thru the ship to the gangway, where you will skip the line to disembark. To me it did not appear to be anywhere near as large as the service elevators and we sometimes had to wait for multiple elevators before we could get on. That being said, once the ship is cleared, you are the first ones lead off if you are ready to go.

Sorry I don't know about the non-Haven suites.
