Port Canaveral to Cape Canaveral

Besides renting a car is there any shuttle or how would you get from Port Canaveral to Cape Canaveral? Anyone know what a cab would cost? Thanks for the suggestions

when you say 'cape canaveral'

 

are meaning from a location in the town (city) of?

 

or

 

do you really mean the Kennedy Space Center (which we old folks think of as Cape Canaveral where astronauts lanched)?

 

The CITY of Cape Canaveral extends south from the port approx 3 miles ....

 

Ron Jon Surf Shop is about 3.5 miles from Terminal 1 ... 'right now' UBER X from T-1 to Ron Jon is $15 .... always subject to change.

 

T-1 to the KSC Visitor Center is $35 (right now)

north of the 'city box' is Cape Canaveral Space Force (formerly Air Force) Station; KSC is on Merritt Island .....

ahhhhhhh ..... so NOW we see the real question

 

I've shown you a typical UBER fare .... unfortunately there is NO public transportation or much in the way of 'local tour service' from the port to the Visitor Center.
