Fort Lauderdale Airport

We will be disembarking from the Emerald Princess in Fort Lauderdale on January 22, 2024.  Would we be able to make a 10:30 am flight?  Would a taxi be the best way to get to the airport if we do the early "walk off " from the ship?  Thank you.

Easily, and yes take a taxi.  Do self walk off.  Done it many times.   

Once through security it's 15 minutes to the airport.

You *should* be ok if you walk off (with your luggage) as soon as you can, and yes, get a taxi! We usually opt for 11/11:30 flights and haven't had a problem. Do you have TSA PreCheck? That might help, too.

And hope all goes well with debarkation and not to long to checkin and go thru security.

Ships do not always come into port on time. Also I would check the port schedule, sometimes there are as many as 6-7 ships debarking at the same time.
