Golf - is it worth it?

Hello - we would like to avoid a beach, but haven't found many other options that are offered to do in Barbados. We enjoy golf and thought maybe that would be a good option - anyone done this before and if so, have recommendations as to course?

 

Or another idea outside of a beach?

I don't golf, but friends on a cruise with me played Sandy Lane last Feb. and had nothing but good to say about it. 

 

That said, there really is a lot to see on Barbados - maybe look at a private tour that includes St Nicholas Abbey (old manor house and rum operation) and a drive across the island to Bathsheba for lunch.
