La Spezia Private Tour of Cinque Terre

I can't help with names, but a road tour is a good way to explore.

The trains are ridiculously crowded, and because most of the route between villages is in tunnels there's no scenery. But the mountain roads are surprisingly quiet, and the views wonderful.

The villages too are packed - parking is pretty impossible and many streets are for pass-holders only, but your driver can drop you and arrange to return for you in xx minutes, and the short drives between villages will be welcome relief from the crowds.

Visiting by boat is also a good alternative, and you see the places from a different perspective. But ferries can be crowded too, and waiting can be time-consuming.
