Princess Plus vs Suite Perks

Has anyone cruised in a suite since the new Princess Plus went into effect? We have an upcoming Discovery cruise in a suite. I hear that until recently there was a nightly Happy hour with free drinks in the Concierge Lounge, but I am curious whether this benefit may have been removed since the new Plus/Premium changes went into effect.

For those who have sailed in a suite with access to the Concierge Lounge since the changes went into effect in August - is the nightly happy hour with free drinks still in effect?

This will help suite guests decide whether it is worth it to upgrade to Plus, or just enjoy the perks they will already receive with a suite.

AFAIK the Concierge Lounge drinks in the evening is still there but upgrading to Plus brings with it much more than just a few drinks in the evening that the Concierge Lounge offers. I wouldn't have thought it worthwhile upgrading to Plus just for that.

I would suggest that you look at the benefits of Plus and decide if they are worthwhile to you and if so get it. If not then either have your drink or two in the Concierge Lounge or just pay for a couple of drinks each night... it would be a lot cheaper than Plus if you don't want the other benefits.

We just sailed in a suite on the Majestic and yes, suite nightly drinks are still available.  We really enjoy the 24 hour coffee machine with continental breakfast items and snacks the rest of the day.  Coffee

machine made expresso, caffe latte, cappucino's, etc. and the best part was my husband could step

across to the lounge and delivery my early morning coffee without standing in the lines at the International Cafe. No room service necessary!
