Suite-to-Suite Upgrade Question

I posed a version of this question on another thread. Looking to hear from guests who booked a full suite (not a mini suite or club class/reserve mini suite) who successfully bid on a "higher level" suite.

 

We paid for a Penthouse Suite and bid on an Owner's Suite. If by some miracle we win the bid, will Princess still count this as 2 cruises (as far as loyalty goes)? I would assume so as we are booked in a full suite now, but, I would also not put it past Princess to say "if you upgrade to a suite as per bidding terms it only counts as one".

 

Anyone have experience with this?

The message refers to the typical situation of a guest upgrading from something less than a Suite.

You'll still get the two credits, as you originally paid for a suite.
