mahasamatman Posted October 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2023 We were supposed to cruise on the Sinfonia in March, but those have all been canceled because of the mideast unrest. Our original cruise was 10 days, but all I see offered around that time period now are 7-day cruises. Since MSC cruises are all closed-loop, do they allow you to book non-standard lengths? We'd love to have a 10-day cruise to replace our existing 10-day as it would allow us to keep the bulk of our reservations intact, and could also allow us to keep our price protection since the cruise would be the same length as the one that was canceled. Thanks.
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 21, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 21, 2023 Not a chance. Notice that those cruises start and end every one of the 7 days. Your cruise might be Sunday to Sunday, but the cabin next door might be Monday to Monday. They will have a group of cabins set aside for each boarding. They are not going to sell you a cabin for 1-1/2 sailings. You could book B2B weeks and get off after three days of the second week. But unless the cruises have different itineraries you would be repeating the last three days. EM
