Entertainment on 21 night QM2 trip

Hi there

 

My Wife and I are booked on a 21 night Southampton round trip voyage on QM2 in July 2025.  The itinerary is Southampton, Norway, Iceland, Halifax NS, New York and Southampton.  We both really enjoy going to the theatre show each night and I was wondering, given the length of the trip and the fact it is basically a trip to New York followed by a separate transatlantic voyage back to Southampton, is there a chance that we will have repeat performances of shows some nights on our trip?  We were hoping to see a different show each night but not sure how the entertainment works on these longer voyages as we have only done 7 night trips before.  Appreciate any insight you can provide.

There is likely to be a repeat of the production shows, for the general entertainers, you should have a different show each night, the artist may repeat, but the show will be different.

If it has a unique booking code there will be no repeats. If it is 2/3 back to backs there is a slight chance the Headliner show may repeat. On a recent TA there and back there was no repeats. The Insights guest speakers just tend to do one portion of the cruise. Other guest entertainers sometimes fly in and out so are not there for the whole voyage.  On a T A there are no changes until NY or S’ton  for obvious reasons. Sometimes the guest entertainers do another different show in the week but  in another venue. The Headliners have a repertoire of several different shows so hopefully there will be no repeats. I still go even if I have seen the shoe before.

The Headliners have a westbound programme and a eastbound one (usually) so there shouldn't be any repeats.

 

Any "special"speakers, normally only do one way.

We did 21 days on QM2 in 1999 (an EB transatlantic and a 2-week WB transatlantic) and nothing repeated.
