We are on Borealis, 29 nights to the Caribbean later this month and there are two theme nights. One is a masquerade - formal, when masks can be worn. The other is a tropical/Neon night, which appears to be night when you can, if you wish, wear tropical or brightly coloured clothing and and some people have said they took neon sticks. I have not experienced either of those myself.
Lleyncruiser Posted November 4, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted November 4, 2023 Where did you get your info on theme nights ? We are on the Egypt/Indian Ocean later this month but there only seem to be formal nights, not theme nights. I guess I wont need my Union Jack bow tie then. At least we wont be singing Land of Hope and Glory this time !

It is either in the login on Fred's website (I think you can check on the itinerary day by day, though may be confusing it with another cruise line), or possibly in the brochure which we were sent about the cruise, excursions etc.

Coravel Posted November 17, 2023 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2023 We were on the 3 ship meetup in Funchal and there were no theme nights at all. No British night and no Halloween either. Fortunately we were on the Bollette which made all the ports.
1160451 Posted November 18, 2023 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2023 How times have changed. I recall our first cruise with Fred there was A Western night Theme, A Carribean night Theme, A “British” night Theme and 3 Formal Nights. oh and a Rock and Roll Night. Coravel Posted November 18, 2023 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2023 I think Covid put paid to all those theme nights that we enjoyed so much. At least we didn't hear about a single Covid isolation on this cruise and there weren't too many coughers either.
