Getting to Te Hana from Auckland

We're cruising out of Auckland and arriving in Auckland 3 days before our cruise.  We would like to visit Te Hana Te Ao Marama on one of those days but can't find a day tour that goes there nor can we figure out how to get there by public transit.  Does anyone have any experience that can help us figure this out?

Hi

There is a train station at Wellsford, check if a train goes there from Auckland, if so check if taxi's available in Wellsford to Te Hana about 5km.

Maybe that's a possibility?

Just a thought.

There is also a bus service from Auckland Central to Te Hana.
