I understand that NCL doesn't link reservations, however, we are traveling with some friends. Can we book specialty restaurants for more than are in our cabin?  How can we make sure that when we go to a specialty restaurant that we are all sitting together? Thanks in advance!

You just book the table for whatever amount of people you want to reserve it. When you make the reservation it is not restricted to the number of people in the cabin. So let's say you are two couples in different cabins. One person books a table for 4. That's it. If you'd be 3, 5 or 7 just book 4, 6, 8. There is no problem with that.

The reservation is just a number. If you are a couple and reserve for 4, the restaurant will hold 4 seats together. Even if you get into a fight with the other couple and decide to bring 2 random people instead, the restaurant will seat you and the strangers together.....making new friends thanks to NCL. 😁
