We are leaving out of our home port and ending up in Puerto Rico where we will fly back to Tampa. Should we bring our carseat and base along? Will the taxi's have seat belts? The only time we would need it is from the San Juan port to the airport. We are not planning on taking any other excursions. I hate to lug it along if I dont need it. Anyway, it's probably a long enough ride from the cruise port to the airport (maybe 20-30 minutes and likely in busy traffic) that it probably warrants bringing along the carseat. There should be seatbelts in the taxi in San Juan, but I wouldn't necessarily count on them being in taxis in the other ports. Don't worry about bringing the base, you should be able to just strap in the bucket-type carseat using the seatbelt. ;) See you soon! Unfortunately our carseat wont work without the base so we have to bring both, but thats ok. It fits in the stroller so it will be easier to lug around.
