Allure - Trouble Contacting the Suite Concierges

We are sailing on Allure next week, and are staying in a Grand Suite. It will be our 5th wedding anniversary, and first vacation together without our twin toddlers 🙂

I am been trying to reach the Allure Suite Concierges, Nadja and Cecilia, via email for the last couple of weeks to make some advanced reservations for us. I have not received any responses, and am getting a bit anxious. In the past, the suite concierge always responded at least 2 weeks before our cruise to confirm that our reservation requests had been taken care of, or at least to say they would work on ir. We try to have everything set before we board, that way we care not rushing around, and can enjoy our cruise as soon as we board. Now, I understand they are very busy dealing with current onbaord suite guests, but with our cruise a week away, I thought I would have heard something by now. Any advice on how to reach them other than email? TIA.

For the past 22 years for us always been 6/7 days before sailing date

Only time before that was for Star Class which was 6 weeks out

Allure in November they reached out 6 days before

On the rare occasion nothing by 5 days out, I then email them

I’m assuming you have the correct email addresses

Nancy

Useful Emails:

AL_concierge01@rccl.com

AL_concierge02@rccl.com

Suite Lounge Concierge’s

Thank you for your reply. Yes, those are the two addresses I used.

You shouldn't contact them directly, but instead wait for them to email you. Otherwise your emails will sit in a pile since they're not related to current or the next cruise.

That’s interesting. We have always contacted them a few weeks before our sailing, well in advance of them sending out their “welcome email”, and have gotten a response.

This has been my experience too.  They have enough to do onboard without trying to deal with requests weeks out.  Frankie says Relax.

Well, tomorrow will mark seven days so we shall see. Where did you smoke cigars on allure?

The smoking section is on the pool deck, port side (I think).  You can only smoke cigars outside. I find it's less than ideal especially when the ship is in motion so I have tended to enjoy them either ashore on while everyone else is ashore.

I’m planning on bringing some small cigars on board and then trying to smoke them in the casino. They are smaller enough where people may think they are some kind of cigarette. I will let you know how it goes.

It's not allowed, but, I am curious.  My experience is that cigars get picked up pretty quickly in the casino and you are asked to put them out.

That’s probably what will happen. I’m going to try to find an out of the way corner and see if I can do it. Stay tuned.
