Bids for Upgrades

If your bid is not accepted will they notify you? My cruise leaves on Tues. and booking is closed but I haven't heard anything from them.

No. They will notify you only if your bid IS accepted. See you on Tuesday.

last time I bid I was notified successful 48 hours before departure which seemed consistent with others at the time from the spreadsheet on this thread https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2645145-upgrade-bid-experiences/

When I look at the website I am unable to bid for an upgrade  on a cruise I booked earlier this year.  It says upgrade bid not yet available.  Did. you book the cruise before the changeover?

I didn't do it through the website. They sent me an email with the upgrade available and the amount of minimum bid. My cruise is the 12th and I received the email on the 1st.No reply yet if it was accepted.

If bids are being accepted for your cruise you will get an email invitation late March - it is not something that happens on every cruise
