Paul_BB Posted December 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 19, 2023 Greetings! The VV website says "Two bottle of wine 750ml are allowed in carry-on luggage". Will there be a corkage fee at the embarkation or only if we bring it to a restaurant? Thanks 🙂
Rare cantgetin Posted December 19, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 19, 2023 Yes--there is a corkscrew in your room and you are welcome to open it there and carry a glass to a restaurant. But if you carry a bottle to a restaurant, you will be charged a corkage fee. On Valiuant, it was $25 or $30 USD. If you do choose to open it in your room, you can get appropriate classes from your cabin host or any bartender.
Rare CineGraphic Posted December 19, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2023 The rule is there, and can be enforced at any time, but on our 4 sailings, it hasn't happened to us yet.

Thanks! Could you please elaborate a bit what you exactly meant: did you come to a restaurant with your own bottle and they did not charge you a single time? Yes, but they could have charged me if they wanted to. (This was on Scarlet and Valiant)
