Le Voyage prebooking Ascent

Celebrating our 35th and wanted to book something special one night for our Jan 14 cruise.  Is a Le Voyage prebooking only for the a la carte menu?  Can you not prebook the tasting menu?  How much pp is the tasting menu when purchased onboard?

The dinner is S125 pp on board and the tasting menu is $155pp.  
 

I would book the reservation for the dinner now and once on the ship ask to change to the tasting.  That way you have a reservation vs not having a reservation and hoping for a cancellation.

Congratulations on your Anniversary! You will not be disappointed! My husband and I just ate there last night on Ascent and it now is our favorite specialty restaurant from all the ships!

Did you do the tasting menu?

No we just did the regular menu. The tasting menu takes about 2 and 1/2 hours and we were fine with the normal menu since our seating was at 8:30.
When you arrive they pour you a complimentary glass of Vueve Clicquot which was a nice surprise! We both ordered an appetizer, I had the shrimp and my husband order the crab salad and then we shared the salmon topped with caviar, all delicious. I had the lobster risotto and my husband had the filet which he said was the best he had in a while and he loves meat so that says something. The dessert was phenomenal as well. Just our opinion but one of the best and rich meals we have had in a long time.
